Shahwira Productions Sdn.Bhd. which was incorporated on January 10th, 2005, subsidiary of Shahwira Holdings Sdn. Bhd. – a Bumiputra Company. For a start, Shahwira Holdings had produced 8 telemovies and now telemovies production has been taken over by Shahwira Productions Sdn. Bhd.
The tittles for 8 telemovies is Express Raya, Rendang Perantau, Lima Jam Sebelum Syawal, Cinta Teksi Bermeter, Jelingan A Go – Go, Junepah Lopes, Pabila Cahaya Bersinar Semula and Kerana Perempuan “2".
On March 29 th , 2005 Shahwira Productions managed to acquire the “Malay Entertainment” channel from MiTV, a private pay television station based in Kuala Lumpur, which is called Dunia Hiburan TV (DHTV).
Dunia Hiburan TV features an exclusive entertainment, programme with the concept of “Malay Entertainment” which will introduce artist, local movies, fashion shows, game shows, theatre performance, telemovies, musical concerts and latest news on the local entertainment scene.
