Shahwira Agro Industries Sdn.Bhd, (formerly known as shahwira Fish Industries Sdn.Bhd) The District of Kuala Rompin in the state of Pahang has been identified as having the potential to be developed into an agro industrial zone due to the availability of natural resources and the nature of the land that permits such development.
Various projects in horticulture, veterinary and aquaculture have been carried out either on a small scale by individuals in clusters or on a larger scale by private companies but unfortunately the success rate of these projects has been a disappointment.
One of the reasons as to why the locals failed in their undertakings was due to their inexperience in establishing rapport with the various Government agencies and NGO`s, which could enhance their marketing strategies and local demand response.
